ADDITION: Any project that increases the enclosed square footage of a home for use on a year-round basis. (Three-season rooms are eligible under Category 6 - Outdoor Structures). This category also includes adding a second storey to a bungalow or raising a roof to add square footage to an existing second storey.

BASEMENT: Any basement project that finishes a previously unfinished space or remodels an existing basement space.

BATHROOM: Any bathroom project that involves new fixtures, resurfacing walls and floors, and/or changing size or layout.

EXTERIOR: Any project that changes the exterior appearance of a home. This category includes elevation changes accomplished by changing windows, building cladding, roof line details, and/or porches.

KITCHEN: Any kitchen project that changes layout and/or cabinetry in the interest of improving traffic flow and/or changing appearance of the overall kitchen.

OUTDOOR STRUCTURE: Any project that changes or adds to an outdoor structure. This category includes decks, pergolas, three season sunrooms, detached gazebos and patios.

WHOLE HOUSE: Any project that renovates at least 75% of a home's interior square footage. This category includes additions as long as it is only a portion of the total renovation which includes resurfacing walls and floors, changing size or layout of rooms, and changing fixtures and cabinetry.
